Hiiumaa is located in the Baltic Sea and lies about 200 km from the Swedish border and 100 km from the Finnish border as the crow flies.

Surrounded by the sea from all sides it is easily reachable by private boat or yacht, plane and car (by ferry).

By Private boat, Motorboat or Yacht

Hiiumaa Summerhouse is just a 15-minute walk from Orjaku Harbour, one of the most charming harbors in the world. The harbor also features a restaurant and hosts a variety of cultural events, markets, and concerts throughout the season.

By Plane

Hiiumaa Airport is located in Kärdla, offering flights from Tallinn 12 times a week. The flight takes approximately 30 minutes, and tickets cost around €40 per person.

By Car and Ferry

The most popular way to travel to Hiiumaa is by car. Drive to Haapsalu and head to Rohuküla Harbor, where you can take a ferry to Heltermaa Harbor. The ferry ride offers stunning views and lasts about 1.5 hours.

From Heltermaa, it’s about a 20-minute drive to Hiiumaa Summerhouse.
